Built in 1923 this small double bowed vessel was originally a lifeboat for RMS Mooltan. The P&O vessel was withdrawn in 1953 and the little lifeboat went to work for Bruce Watt on Loch Morar as part of the Kyles Nevis Tour under the name of Chieftain. Later she moved to Kyle of Lochalsh where she ran cruises to Eilean Donan Castle as A'Mhaighdean Mhara before being purchased by David MacBrayne for service as flit boat at Eigg, displacing Staffa to act as flit boat at Lochboisdale while the new pier there was being built. While in the MacBrayne fleet she was named Eigg. She was withdrawn from service in 1974 and scrapped in 1978.
