In 1973 Maid of Ashton was sold to the Yardarm Club of London and served as their club-house, lying on the Thames Embankment just astern of the old Humber paddler Tattershall Castle. Painted and rarther modified to resemble some sort of greek luxury yacht, she rejoiced at first in the name of Hispaniola II and, later, the plain Hispaniola.
