Glen Sannox.
Anyone know why Glen Sannox is still at Birkenhead after three months. Delayed overhaul or planned winter lay-up?

For a quarter of a century, Ships of CalMac has been the digital home for enthusiasts of the Hebridean and Clyde fleet of CalMac Ferries, Routes and Crew.
As we mark this 25-year milestone, we want to turn the spotlight on you—the community that has helped us navigate through the years.
We would love to hear about your journey with us. Do you remember the first time you visited the site? Perhaps you’ve contributed a rare photograph or a piece of history to our archives. We want to know:
Your History: When did you first discover Ships of CalMac?
Your Highlights: Which section, specific ship, or article do you find yourself returning to most often?
Your Memories: Is there a retired feature you particularly miss, or a specific page that stands out from the last two decades?
The Future: What is the one thing you’ve always wanted to see on the site that we haven’t built…
I discovered the site in 2009, and thought wow! Having been away from Oban for a decade at that point, to have something that brought the ships back into my life was just brilliant. Like most folk on here my memories of the ships and crews are plentiful and probably far to many to recount,
One thing I miss is the regular debates on the forum, there was always something typed that would get the blood boiling. Keep up the fantastic work, keep the pictures coming in and the rest of us can scour marine traffic and play the game of guess where a vessel is going.

Does anyone have an update as to when she will leave Turkey. She was due her MCA sign off on the 8th December.
CMAL took delivery on Thursday 15/1/26 after MCA approval, so she will be making her way home imminently

MV LORD OF THE ISLES left Aberdeen at 03:22 this morning and appears to have carried out sea trials southbound in the North Sea as far south as Stonehaven. She then turned about, showing Lochboisdale on AIS, but turned about again just north of Peterhead and, after a few manoeuvres returned to Aberdeen. In all, she was at sea for over 13 hours. It would appear that the vessel may have developed a problem on passage.
Port engine trouble apparently, so has returned to Aberdeen. Lochboisdale service cancelled till Monday so far.

Fleet renewal plans: Isle of Arran, Isle of Mull and Isle of Lewis to retire in the next year, Hebrides to Coll/Tiree. Presumably Clansman to Castlebay, Finlaggan as spare.
Will MV CALEDONIAN ISLES transfer to Oban - Craignure once MV GLEN ROSA is on station at Troon?
MV Glen sannox still at Birkenhead, no return for the very total rotten every year, ever. that must be rotten news after all.
