At roughly 0800 Coruisk suffered a technical problem with her engines. This problem lasted for roughly a hour whilst she drifted towards Millport. As a result the Wemyss Bay - Rothesay service was slightly altered and the 1215 ex Rothesay & 1300 sailings ex Wemyss Bay were cancelled. Later, still suffering technical difficulties, the route was operating a one vessel service with just the Bute.
