In 2008 Lord of the Isles had to extend her Oban - Colonsay sailing to Port Askaig. This is because the previous day a large number of people had opted for a day trip from either Kennacraig or Port Askaig to Colonsay. Hebridean Isles dropped them off ok, but on her return from Oban was unable to land, meaning the day trip turned into an overnight stay. Lord of the Isles to the rescue!
