In 2007 CalMac Ferries Ltd signed a Public Service Contract to provide the Clyde and Hebrides Ferry Services. The Scottish Government contract, which is effective from October 1, 2007, will last for 6 years. The signing marks the company’s successful completion of a tender process in accordance with the requirements procedures set out in the Scottish Government’s Invitation to Tender.
