In 2018 chaos reigned when Clansman was so overdue from repairs that an emergencey timeable was introduced today. The Campbeltown service had to be withdrawn, Isle of Arran started to serve both Islay and Arran, spending a day and a half at each island before swapping, and Lord of the Isles extended some Colonsay sailings to Port Askaig. Hebridean Isles had to assist on the South Uist run from Oban too. The situation remained for a few weeks.
